Kristen M. Fisher is an attorney for the Maryland Law Offices of SRIS, PC. Her primary focus is on criminal, traffic, and family law matters.
Mrs. Fisher was born at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota in 1979. After living on various military bases around the world, her family moved to Maryland in 1994.
Mrs. Fisher attended and graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2001, where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. She then graduated from Rutgers School of Law in 2004. While in law school, Mrs. Fisher was active in Moot Court and a Pro Bono Bankruptcy Clinic. She also excelled in trial advocacy and developed a passion for litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, she worked as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Maryland, where she prosecuted criminal cases in both the State District Court and Circuit Court for Maryland.
Since joining the firm, she has defended clients in both State and Federal Courts, and through carefully structured defenses, she has negotiated many successful outcomes for those clients. Some of those different types of cases have included drug possession, assault, theft, solicitation, prostitution, and traffic citations. She has also successfully handled divorce and child custody cases in the State Circuit Court.
Her experience as both a prosecutor and defender has given her the insight to know how prosecutions are handled, and how to prepare the best defense for your case.
